ASA Names Stephanie Addison Vice President of Public Affairs




WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, the American Securities Association (ASA) announced the hiring of Stephanie Addison as Vice President of Public Affairs. In this role, Addison will develop and execute ASA’s communications and public affairs strategies, including all marketing, media and public relations efforts.


Before joining ASA, Addison was the Senior Communications Director for the Farm Credit Council where she led the organization's internal and external marketing and communications efforts. With nearly a decade of experience in Washington, Addison has led public relations efforts within the trade association, nonprofit and government space, including several years as a congressional staffer.

“Stephanie is an innovative PR strategist with a track record of effectively influencing and accomplishing advocacy initiatives for a variety of issue areas,” ASA CEO Chris Iacovella said. “Her education, communications expertise and background in both the public and private sector will maintain ASA as a leader in the digital and strategic communications space.”

Addison began her career working for her hometown congressman Representative Randy Neugebauer (R-TX), a senior leader and Subcommittee Chairman for the House Financial Services Committee, and later Financial Services Committee Chairman Jeb Hensarling (R-TX).


Additionally, she was a press secretary for former Chairman K. Michael Conaway (R-TX) at the House Agriculture Committee.


Addison holds a bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University in public relations and political science and a master’s degree from Georgetown University in public relations and corporate communications. She also grew up on a sixth-generation cattle ranch and cotton farm in West Texas.
