WASHINGTON – The American Securities Association (ASA) today released the following statement from President and CEO Chris Iacovella ahead of the Securities and Exchange Commission's (SEC) private markets roundtable:
"ASA commends SEC Chairman Atkins for holding a roundtable to examine the explosive growth of the private markets. We look forward to continuing our work with the SEC and Congress to ensure the right regulatory balance between public and private markets exists, compliance burdens on public companies are removed, and that more small American companies can raise capital to create jobs and allow every American investor to participate in that growth."
