"It is our responsibility to begin addressing the needs in communities in which we live and work," Chairman and CEO Paul Reilly said.
In March, Chairman and CEO Paul Reilly announced that Raymond James committed a corporate donation of $1.5 million to support charitable organizations delivering essential services to communities affected by COVID-19.
A national donation was made to Feeding America to help serve individuals facing hunger across America while the remaining funds will be reserved for future relief. Additionally, a portion of the corporate donation was delivered to organizations providing access to food and healthcare in markets where we have corporate offices such as St. Petersburg, FL, Memphis, TN, Southfield, MI, Denver, CO, and New York, NY.
Throughout April and May, as the number of individuals affected by COVID-19 continued to grow, the firm and its executives added additional funds in the U.S., Canada and the United Kingdom for a combined total of more than $2.3 million contributed globally.
The local contributions will support the following organizations and others:
“Despite social distancing and adjusting to new work environments, the guiding principles of Raymond James have always seen us through. During this time of need, our giving culture has never been more alive,” said Chairman and CEO Paul Reilly. “Now more than ever, it is our responsibility to address the needs in the communities in which we live and work.”
Together, we make a difference to build, strengthen and grow our communities.
